INTRODUCTION
Many industries in more developed countries have reached a stage of maturity in their growth cycle that makes further dimensional growth cycle in the familiar western markets difficult. Astute businessmen, concerned about economic uncertainty at home, are focusing their interest on select less developed countries. Iran with its economic surge, ambitious development plans, and mushrooming consumer demand is gaining attention. Facilitating this interest the Islamic government of Iran has sanctioned establishment of free zones, which are to provide a matrix for contemporary business decisions and operations conducive to mutual benefits of all concerned.
